​

i am currently a fourth-year undergraduate majoring in communication and media studies at carleton university. this website is designed for my fourth-year workshop, showcasing my audio production projects over the term. podcast producing is one of the most interesting subjects i learned in the workshop, and please click on the audio documentary if you are interested in the piece i produced.

 

i have been interested in music from a young age and have been learning piano for over 15 years. i joined the school band in high school as a percussionist, playing xylophone and marimba. in recent years i am a keyboard player at two bands (ins: @the_puntine @zano_band_official). i am enrolled as a keyboard at the chinese new year gala in 2020.

from my first year to my third year at carleton, i am actively enrolled in carleton university chinese student association (ins: @cucsa_official) as a vice president of finance/secretary general. the main role of the club is to help international students from China quickly adapt to their study life in carleton, and to actively liaise with the local chinese community to organize activities with Chinese cultural characteristics. during my tenure, I have been actively involved in organizing chinese new year gala, orientation, e-sports and basketball tournaments.

 

my hostess experience started in elementary school and has participated in various christmas gala between 2009-2015. i have also enrolled as a bilingual (mandarin and english) hostess for the chinese new year gala in 2020, the singing competition "singing! ottawa" in 2019, and the singing competition "super voice" in 2017 and 2018.

besides my academic and work life, i have a great passion for cooking, home organizing+decorating, piano, hiking, travel, reading, and photography.
